Life through my eyes.

Life is weird, in its own diabolical way. People get a kick out of belittling others, or so it seems. Our identities are spun in a woven symphony, after every weave, there is a weft, after every subjugation there is a superiority and this is what keeps us all going. The hope for domination.

It is interesting to note that human beings love to cling to their perceived identities. We may have nothing to lose or gain but we’ll still fight to protect that perception, the self-esteem. It’s what we live for.

As we view the world, through our own little lens, full of pride and self-indulgence, we never truly want to understand the beliefs of others. Even when we do, it’s just pretentious because somewhere deep down that feeling of being able to see both sides of the coin gives a feeling of superiority, a prowess of emotions over the others.

So confusing are we human beings, so self-centered that we only see what we prefer to see…while the other view may beg, wail or cry for attention.

No matter how strongly you would disagree with the above, remember this is my lens and you might be viewing through your own, however, it would be a pleasure to share it with you.

Much love –

Anum
